Hello there, and welcome…
Imagine a smoldering hot day, with a gentle breeze, and a cool glass of lemonade. It tastes sweet on your lips and immediately refreshes. Are you thirsty yet?
We all have unquenchable thirst in us at times… a yearning for more intimate friendships and connection. a thirst for answers to our average–ordinary–everyday questions. Do you long to be seen and set free from secret shame and expectations. What if I told you it’s possible?
For so many years I was shackled by my shame. It’s been a long journey to finding the healing and freedom I now experience. There is power in sharing our stories, so I openly share mine with you.

Do you struggle with faith and doubt~ life and love~ shame and anger~ hidden fears? If so, welcome to my world. Each of our paths are so unique but inexplicably interwoven. I’m so glad you’re here.
This is a place for the doubters and the wanderers. Those with more questions than answers. I have found I don’t need all of the answers. I just need others to walk alongside me, the reassurance that I am not alone. Don’t you feel that too at times?
There is so much beauty in our individual stories, and together we can uncover the beauty in ourselves and others as we discover the courage to be exactly who we are. This is the truth that sets us all free… that we are infinitely loved more than we can possibly fathom. Mistakes and all.
I am the author of Redeeming Destiny: Dancing Into Unexpected Truth. It portrays the very dark path I once walked through addiction and all the suffering that accompanies such a path. I found Love in the depths of my addiction. You may click on my book page to find out more, or you may click here to order a copy.
Won’t you join me in the journey back to loving ourselves and others?
Is Spanking Abusive? Is There A More Gentle Way?
Salty tears of anger and regret, sorrow and shame stream down my cheeks. Memories are flooding my mind of a different time, yet it feels all too familiar. For three weeks now, our home has felt more like a battleground rather than a safe…

How To Walk Away From Toxic Religion
This is by far my most terrifying post to date. These are the things I’ve wanted to say, but haven’t been ready to do so until now. I haven’t written in months because I just can’t find the words. Maybe it’s not the words…
A Tribute to our Teachers-We Love and Thank You
As the desks and halls in schools remain empty and bare And the walls reverberate silence rather than giggles and laughter As the playground no longer nurtures play and forges friendships We remember our teachers who foster a love of learning in our littles…
